Baseball Recap: Tolono Unity Takes a Loss

Tolono Unity was the 9-6 winner over Tri-Valley when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Tolono Unity fell 9-4 to Tri-Valley on Thursday. Rockets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Vikings since on Thursday.

Tolono Unity saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Remole, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 3-for-3.

Tolono Unity now has a losing record of 2-3. Tri-Valley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Tolono Unity will take on Illinois Valley Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tri-Valley has already played their next game (against Richwoods), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
