Football Recap: Blanco's Rushing Attack Does It Again

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Blanco had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Industrial Cobras with a sharp 48-23 win. With the Panthers ahead 27-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Blanco had a senior duo take command as Brodrick Siwecki gained 145 total yards and three touchdowns and Trey Atchley rushed for 139 yards and one score on only ten carries. Atchley really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.

Blanco was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 321 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards in 20 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Blanco's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Industrial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

As of now, neither Blanco nor the Cobras have any future games scheduled.
