Softball Recap: Rock Springs Comes Up Short

Rock Springs blew Green River out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Green River got their revenge. The TIGERS fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the TIGERS have suffered since March 21st.

Tarin Anderson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and three RBI. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Makyla Sweeney was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Rock Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Green River, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Rock Springs will square off against Laramie at 3:30 p.m. on the 25th. Green River will be paying especially close attention to the TIGERS' match: after the TIGERS faces off against South, they'll take on Green River again at 3:30 p.m. on May 8.
