Palm Beach Gardens let Chase Turner and Alex Lorenjatos run wild. Turner scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-5, while Lorenjatos got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and one double. Palm Beach Gardens is undefeated when Turner posts two or more stolen bases, but 6-12 otherwise.

Palm Beach Gardens kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Somerset Academy - Canyons is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Palm Beach Gardens, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 9-12.
