Holdrege has gone 8-2 against Gering recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Holdrege is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Gering at 1:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Holdrege is leaving town to face Gering after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Holdrege fell just short of Scotus by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Gering's offense. They came up short against East on Saturday, falling 14-0. The loss continues a trend for Gering in their meetings with East: they've now lost four in a row.

Holdrege beat Gering 2-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Holdrege repeat their success, or does Gering has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
