Softball Recap: Denver Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Hamilton on Saturday, Denver came back down to earth. The Cyclones fell just short of the Don Bosco Dons by a score of 10-9 on Saturday. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2020.

Denver's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Don Bosco, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Denver didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-11 victory against Nashua-Plainfield on the 7th. As for Don Bosco, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Grundy Center on the 7th.
