Softball Recap: Ider Takes a Loss

Ider has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.91 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 19-2 to the Plainview Bears. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Ider's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8-2. As for Plainview, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6-1 record this season.

Ider has already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Fyffe on the 12th. As for Plainview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-0 win against Skyline on the 14th.
