Recap: Pulaski County Cougars vs. Cave Spring Knights
The Pulaski County Cougars lost to the Cave Spring Knights back in September of 2022, but The Pulaski County Cougars didn't allow the Cave Spring Knights the same satisfaction on Friday. Pulaski County came out on top against Cave Spring by a score of 27-20. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pulaski County.
Pulaski County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trevor Gallimore out in front who rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns. Gallimore hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for four straight games. Chase Lawrence was another key contributor, rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Pulaski County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Cave Spring, their loss was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 3-7.
Pulaski County will face off against William Byrd at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. William Byrd is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games. Cave Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
