Sunnyslope is 8-2 against Apollo since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. Sunnyslope knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Apollo likes a good challenge.

Sunnyslope is headed into this one coming off a big win against nationally ranked St. Mary's (Sunnyslope was ranked 56th at the time). The Vikings blew past the Knights 65-43 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Hawks on Thursday. Apollo had to suffer through a 73-40 loss at the hands of Highland. The game marked Apollo's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sunnyslope's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Apollo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Everything went Sunnyslope's way against Apollo in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as Sunnyslope made off with a 60-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
