Soccer Recap: Kosciusko Falls Short of West Lauderdale in the Playoffs

Kosciusko and West Lauderdale squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Kosciusko had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the West Lauderdale Knights. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Whippets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kosciusko's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for West Lauderdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9-1.

Kosciusko does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Lauderdale, they will square off against North Pontotoc on Saturday. North Pontotoc will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something West Lauderdale surely won't give up without a fight.
