Baseball Recap: Beatrice Takes a Loss

Beatrice lost against Seward back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Beatrice fell 7-3 to Seward. The game marked the Orangemen's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Austin Baldwin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Beatrice now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Seward, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beatrice will take on Fairbury at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Beatrice is facing Fairbury at the right time seeing as Fairbury is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Seward, they are taking a road trip to face off against Platte Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
