Baseball Recap: Hampton-Dumont/CAL Comes Up Short

Hampton-Dumont/CAL didn't have quite enough to beat the Charles City Comets on Friday and fell 11-9.

Looking ahead, Hampton-Dumont/CAL will head out on the road to square off against Humboldt at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Hampton-Dumont/CAL's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Charles City, they will host Oelwein at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
