Recap: Harford Tech Cobras vs. Manchester Valley Mavericks
The Harford Tech Cobras's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight defeat. The match between them and Manchester Valley wasn't particularly close, with Harford Tech falling 65-51. Harford Tech was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Manchester Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
It was another big night for Brendan Luddy, who scored 29 points along with eight rebounds for Manchester Valley. Another player making a difference was Owen Caine, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Harford Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Manchester Valley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.
Harford Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Elkton at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manchester Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Hereford at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Manchester Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
