Buhach Colony needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Jordan Cortez. The Buhach Colony Thunder came out on top against the Los Banos Tigers by a score of 65-55 on Friday thanks in part to Cortez, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 19 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Buhach Colony's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 10-11. As for Los Banos, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-6.

Buhach Colony wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-45 loss against Atwater on the 29th. As for Los Banos, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-53 defeat against El Capitan on the 29th.
