Basketball Recap: Glenn Hills Takes a Loss

Glenn Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 36th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Laney Wildcats 73-38. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 474th, while the Wildcats are ranked 95th).

Glenn Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Laney, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Glenn Hills has already played their next game (against Burke County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Laney and Hephzibah will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
