Spruce Mountain put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Yarmouth Clippers with a sharp 55-32 victory. Fans of the Phoenix have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Spruce Mountain's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Yarmouth, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Spruce Mountain and Wells will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Spruce Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Wells likes a good challenge. As for Yarmouth, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Oceanside at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
