Basketball Recap: River Hill Gets the Win

River Hill lost to Lake Clifton back in February of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The River Hill Hawks walked away with a 60-49 victory over the Lake Clifton Lakers.

River Hill had a senior duo take command as Justin Bishop dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards and Anderson Dang went 8 of 12 on his way to 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dang has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Rooths, who posted eight points in addition to five assists and three steals.

The win got River Hill back to even at 3-3. As for Lake Clifton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

River Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-65 victory against Westminster on the 28th. As for Lake Clifton, they will face off against Poly on Thursday.
