Volleyball Recap: Okolona Takes a Loss

Okolona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-10.

Okolona's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Tupelo Christian Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Okolona has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Smithville on the 30th. As for Tupelo Christian Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Ingomar on the 30th.
