Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart Comes Up Short

Sacred Heart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Loyd Star Hornets, falling 49-13. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 54-15 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Loyd Star, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Sacred Heart will be playing in front of their home fans against Enterprise at 6:00 p.m. on January 3rd. As for Loyd Star, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Amite County at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th.
