Softball Game Preview: Eau Claire North Huskies vs. Hudson Raiders

For the second straight game, Eau Claire North will face off against Hudson. The Huskies will head out to challenge the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Hudson hit Eau Claire North with a four-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Huskies fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 7-6. Huskies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Raiders since on Tuesday.

Grace Fuerst was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

The win (which was Hudson's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Eau Claire North, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8.
