Basketball Recap: Quen Daniel's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Atlanta over Forsyth Central

North Atlanta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Forsyth Central Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-33 back in December of 2024.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Quen Daniel, who posted 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Bryanna Carson was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

North Atlanta's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Forsyth Central, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

North Atlanta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-28 victory against Alpharetta on the 27th. Forsyth Central has also already played their next match, a 61-37 defeat against South Forsyth on the 27th.
