Baseball Game Preview: Carver Birmingham Rams vs. Parker Thundering Herd

Carver Birmingham is 1-9 against Parker since February of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Carver Birmingham Rams will head out to face off against the Parker Thundering Herd at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Carver Birmingham is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Huffman, falling 10-4. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Parker was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 14-2 to Mountain Brook. The Thundering Herd's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Parker saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Willis, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Willis is becoming a predictor of Parker's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 6-1 (and 4-8 when he doesn't).

Carver Birmingham's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Parker, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
