Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Onalaska). They took down the Sparta Spartans 53-35 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-43 back in January.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Izzy Mickelson, who posted six points. Another player making a difference was Tiana Leis, who earned ten points.

Onalaska's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Sparta, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Onalaska has already played their next game (against Wautoma), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sparta will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Black River Falls at 7:15 p.m.
