Football Game Preview: Colonial Grenadiers vs. Olympia Titans

The Colonial Grenadiers will take on the Olympia Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colonial's offense hasn't had much luck over their past eight matches, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Colonial turned things around against University on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cougars a 6-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Olympia put their dominant defense on display in the team's seventh consecutive shutout on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 18-0 win over Lake Nona. The final result isn't all the surprising considering the Titans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Lions are ranked 282nd).

Olympia pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.4 points on average over those games. As for Colonial, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
