Football Recap: Young Kids In Motion Takes a Loss

Young Kids In Motion had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it five. They took a blow against the St. Joseph Academy Flashes, falling 49-12. The Ravens were not able to make up for their loss to the Flashes from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

James Mckight threw for 165 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Tracy Little Jr was his top target, picking up 100 receiving yards. On the ground, Lashawn Hagans rushed for 120 yards on only five carries.

As for St. Joseph Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 40.5 points this season.

Cody Ott was his usual excellent self, throwing for 253 yards and five touchdowns on perfect 11-for-11 passing. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. St. Joseph Academy's leading receiver Camden Coffindaffer was Ott's top target yet again, picking up 74 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Young Kids In Motion will challenge Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Joseph Academy, they will welcome West Oaks Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
