Baseball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-5 to the Kettle Run Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Liberty saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Harris, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kettle Run, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, Liberty and Kettle Run will both be playing James Wood the next time they take the field. Kettle Run will head out to face James Wood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Liberty will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
