Basketball Game Preview: Pallotti Panthers vs. McDonogh Eagles

The Pallotti Panthers will head out to face off against the McDonogh Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pallotti came up short against St. Frances Academy on Wednesday, falling 49-28. Pallotti has struggled against St. Frances Academy recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDonogh). They managed a 57-51 victory over Roland Park Country on Wednesday.

McDonogh has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Pallotti, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Pallotti was able to grind out a solid win over McDonogh in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 34-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pallotti since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
