Baseball Recap: Horizon Hawks vs. Skyline Falcons
Horizon proved they can win big last Monday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Skyline Falcons, sneaking past 3-1.
Eli Savage spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Zacchues Lujan was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Maxton Sosa also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Horizon picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
Looking ahead, Horizon will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Mountain Range at 4:00 p.m. The Hawks are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Skyline, they will welcome Centaurus at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
