Soccer Game Preview: Walhalla vs. Westside

The Walhalla Razorbacks will take on the Westside Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Walhalla fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Seneca on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bobcats who were credited with the win. Seneca got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Walhalla's three. Walhalla haven't had much luck with Seneca recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

On Saturday, Westside didn't have quite enough to beat Gray Collegiate Academy and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Westside have lost by just one goal.

Walhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Westside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Walhalla came out on top in a nail-biter against Westside in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Razorbacks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
