Volleyball Game Preview: Castle Park Trojans vs. Crawford Colts

The Castle Park Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Crawford Colts at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Castle Park is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Castle Park came up short against San Ysidro on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Castle Park was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Crawford got the win against Point Loma on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The victory didn't come easy: Point Loma scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.

Castle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Crawford, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

Castle Park couldn't quite get it done against Crawford when the teams last played back in April as they fell 3-1. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
