Volleyball Recap: Peru Nighthawks vs. Saranac Spartans

After losing to Saranac the last time they met, Peru decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Peru Nighthawks came out on top against the Saranac Spartans by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Nighthawks.

Peru was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 21-25, 25-9.

Peru found their leader in sophomore Alysa Darrah, who had 29 digs, two aces, and a kill. Those 29 digs set a new season-high mark for Darrah.

Peru has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Saranac, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
