Greenfield entered their tilt with Wilson Christian Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Chargers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Greenfield's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Wilson Christian Academy are ranked 235th).

Cooke Rhodes and Grayson Coulter scored both of Greenfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Greenfield's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Wilson Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Greenfield didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against The Oakwood School on the 24th. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on LifeSpring Academy at 7:00 p.m. on October 2.
