Basketball Recap: Sawyer Brown Key Part of a Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

Becker's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders by a score of 82-71. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Becker's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sawyer Brown led the charge by putting up 22 points. Bryce Paumen was another key player, posting 20 points.

The win got Becker back to even at 5-5. As for St. Cloud Cathedral, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Becker will welcome Zimmerman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Becker is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 70.1 points per game this season. As for St. Cloud Cathedral, they will face off against Rocori at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Cloud Cathedral knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Rocori likes a good challenge.
