Softball Recap: Academy of the Holy Names Takes a Loss

Academy of the Holy Names was the 13-1 winner over McKeel Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars fell 7-2 to the Wildcats on Friday.

Academy of the Holy Names saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava LaBarbera, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Academy of the Holy Names now has a losing record of 6-7. As for McKeel Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Coming up, Academy of the Holy Names will host Inspiration Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McKeel Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Mulberry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
