Beal City can't be too worried about heading out to take on Alcona: they just beat Pinconning at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Beal City enjoyed a cozy 47-33 win over Pinconning on Friday.

Meanwhile, Alcona had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 41-34 victory over the Owls. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly seven points.

Alcona pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Beal City, their victory bumped their record up to 19-6.
