Basketball Recap: Lone Grove Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lone Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 44-39 victory over the Davis Wolves on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Longhorns also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Lone Grove's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Davis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lone Grove will take on Byng at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lone Grove is facing Byng at the right time seeing as Byng is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Davis, they will challenge Tishomingo at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
