After a string of three wins, Trinity's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Grayson County Cougars, falling 17-5. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

Trinity saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cale Boarman, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. Wade Burch was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Trinity now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Grayson County, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-10.

Looking ahead, Trinity will face off against Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grayson County, they will square off against Warren Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.43 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
