Soccer Recap: Center Takes Down Lindhurst in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Center had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lindhurst Blazers on Friday. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory the Blazers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The win was the third in a row for Center, bringing their record for this year to 13-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Lindhurst, their loss dropped their record down to 15-3.

Center wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against Woodland on the 18th. Lindhurst does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
