Basketball Recap: Caroline Johnson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Christ Church Episcopal over Chapin

While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Eagles are ranked 79th).

Perhaps the best among them was Caroline Johnson, who posted 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Saddler Fox, who put up nine points and five rebounds.

That's the most points Holmes has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Sami Stephenson, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

Christ Church Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Chapin, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
