Manteca is 8-2 against Oakdale since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Buffaloes will venture away from home to  take on the Mustangs  at 7:00  p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Manteca comes in on nine and Oakdale on eight.
Manteca is headed into the  contest after thoroughly thrashing Patterson: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Buffaloes blew the Tigers out of the water with  a  43-7 final score. The result was nothing new for the Buffaloes, who have now won eight matchups by 29  points or more  so far this season.
Meanwhile, Oakdale humbled  Sierra with  a  69-15 victory. While fans of the Mustangs might be used to big wins, the 54-point margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
Oakdale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Caden Adams,  Peyton Wallace,  and  Wes Burford picked up one apiece. Burford's rushing production has been exceptional  for a while as that marked his 22nd straight game with at least 108  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Special teams  played a big role in the game for Oakdale, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Richard Flores, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
 Manteca's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Oakdale, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
 Manteca was able to grind out a solid  win over Oakdale in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024, winning  36-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buffaloes since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
