Football Game Preview: Kalkaska Blazers vs. Boyne City Ramblers + Official Tickets

Kalkaska hasn't had much luck against Boyne City recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Blazers are taking a road trip to take on the Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kalkaska is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Kingsley on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Blazers had to suffer through a 50-20 loss at the hands of the Stags. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Stags are ranked 84th).

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Boyne City and Charlevoix, and Charlevoix kept the tradition alive. The Ramblers and the Rayders were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Ramblers suffered a 13-12 defeat.
