Volleyball Recap: Itasca Comes Up Short

Itasca and Dawson squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Itasca had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wampus Cats in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Malaina Bryan had a dynamite game For Dawson., getting 23 digs. That's the most digs Bryan has posted since back in October.

Itasca's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Dawson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-15.

Itasca does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dawson, they will challenge Bosqueville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
