Soccer Recap: Johnson Gets the Win

Johnson kept a clean sheet against Reagan on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Reagan Rattlers, sneaking past 1-0. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rattlers, too.

The win got Johnson back to even at 4-4. As for Reagan, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5-2.

Johnson and Reagan could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Johnson (ranked 273rd) will meet Madison (ranked 76th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Reagan will square off against LEE at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 171 places (175 vs. 4).
