Berean Christian is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Miramonte is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Eagles will host the Matadors at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Berean Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Mt. Diablo with a sharp 19-5 win on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Olivia Kundysek was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alissa Jones, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and two doubles.
Berean Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .722. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Miramonte never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past Campolindo 16-0. That looming 16-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Matadors yet this season.
Abby Warren made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Warren was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Maddie McKim was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gianna Granzella, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one triple.
Miramonte has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Berean Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Berean Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. However, it's not like Miramonte struggles in that department as they've averaged .349. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Berean Christian took their win against Miramonte when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-6 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Matadors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
