Softball Game Preview: West York Area Bulldogs vs. Eastern Lebanon County Raiders

The West York Area Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. West York Area has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with five straight defeats, while Eastern Lebanon County will come in with six straight victories.

West York Area came up short against Susquehannock on Monday, falling 14-4.

Kayleigh Becker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Shelby Stough also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Eastern Lebanon County made easy work of Annville-Cleona on Monday and carried off a 17-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Eastern Lebanon County's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for West York Area, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
