Basketball Recap: Mountain View Triumphs

Canyon del Oro came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Mountain View, but Isaiah Romero wouldn't allow it. The Mountain View Mountain Lions came out on top against the Canyon del Oro Dorados by a score of 57-47 on Friday thanks in part to Romero, who went 9 of 21 on his way to 30 points and three steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Mountain View's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Cramblit, who posted six points along with 11 boards and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played.

Mountain View now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Canyon del Oro, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Mountain View will take on Catalina Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon del Oro, they will host Casa Grande at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
