The biggest upset of the week belonged to Episcopal, who defeated 34th ranked Barton, 25-19.
Harding Academy added to the longest winning streak in 3A Region 2 this week by beating Mayflower, 45-21. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Thanks to the talents of Adam Dycus and Justin Bailey, the Eagles have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Dycus is tops in the league in passing with 2,308 yards, while Bailey has rushed for 649 yards this season. The Wildcats' Allie Freeman leads the league in receiving yards with 656 on 43 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Mayflower takes on Episcopal. Jed Davis' team is in fourth place, while Richard Marsh's team is in second place.
The Eagles lost to Harding Academy 45-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.
