Boulder City is a perfect 6-0 against Moapa Valley since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Boulder City is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Virgin Valley, who was ranked ninth at the time (Boulder City was ranked tenth). The Eagles put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

While Boulder City won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Moapa Valley got the win against Cristo Rey St. Viator on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Moapa Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-18.

Moapa Valley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Boulder City, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.

Boulder City took their win against Moapa Valley when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
