Softball Recap: Rosamond Makes It Five in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Rosamond, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past the Desert Scorpions 20-10 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-9 back in April.

The team relied heavily on Priscilla Ponce, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two triples. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (five). Another player making a difference was Alexis Rico, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Rosamond pushed their record up to 15-12 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Desert, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Rosamond nor Desert have any future games scheduled.
