Soccer Recap: Taft vs. Marine Leadership Academy
In what's become a running theme this season, Taft gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They blew past the Marine Leadership Academy Bulldogs 5-1. Taft's winning goal came courtesy of Olivia Kennedy.
Taft pushed their record up to 8-6-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Marine Leadership Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5-2.
Taft will head out on the road to challenge Lane Tech at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Lane Tech will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Taft surely won't give up without a fight. As for Marine Leadership Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Lincoln Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
